Sidmouth is a brilliant base for any age of guest, enjoy delicious food at great restaurants such as Lympstone Manor. Explore a range of activities on offer from nearby beaches along the South West Coat Path to day trips with the kids to The Donkey Sanctuary and Pecorama. There is paddleboarding & kayaking available over the summer from the beach in front of The View, or enjoy a round of golf at Sidmouth or Honiton Golf Club. By car: From the A3052 Exeter to Lyme Regis road at the Bowd Inn take the B3175 turning towards Sidmouth.
By bus: From Exeter bus station take number 9 bus to Sidmouth Triangle. Approximately 50 minutes.
By train: The closest train station is Honiton. Approximately 15 minutes away.
By plane: The closest airport is Exeter International. Approximately 30 minutes
