Whitley Farm Cottage and Dairy are two detached cottages, full of charm and character providing spacious accommodation for 8 people across the two properties. They are nestled amongst rolling Devon fields in the heart of an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Far from the crowd, this idyllic rural retreat, offers privacy in a quiet and secluded position. This is the ideal destination for those wanting peace and tranquillity, birdsong and stargazing. The owners live in the neighbouring farmhouse and are happy to share recommendations on the area but will leave you in peace.

The Dairy- Sleeping 4 in 2 bedrooms

Once inside there is a spacious open plan living area with exposed beams and French doors to the patio area. The kitchen is well equipped and has a dining area to seat 4 guests.

Bedroom 1- A ground floor double bedroom with zip and link beds. This room will be made up as a twin unless you request a super king bed.

Bathroom- There is a shower room with hand basin, WC and heated towel rail.

Bedroom 2- Stairs from the living room lead to an open plan galleried second bedroom with a double bed, chest of drawers and hanging rail.

The property is presented to a high standard with underfloor heating, comfortable furnishings and lovely beds.

Outside Space- Large private enclosed garden, courtyard and patio with garden furniture and BBQ. The Linhay provides undercover storage area for cars & bikes.

Parking - There is ample private parking for 2 cars in the gravel driveway or linhay.

The Cottage- Sleeping 4 in 2 bedrooms

Step through the front door into a welcoming space. To your right, you'll find a cozy double bedroom with ample storage and a comfortable double bed. Adjacent is a newly fitted shower room with a modern WC.

To the left of the entrance lies a spacious kitchen and dining area, boasting picturesque views over the scenic countryside and the cottage's secluded garden. This well-equipped kitchen is perfect for preparing meals and enjoying family gatherings.

Stairs from the kitchen lead to the first floor. The master bedroom features a luxurious super king bed, exposed beams, and stunning views of the surrounding fields. This room can be configured as two single beds upon request, ensuring flexibility for your stay.

Also on the first floor, the inviting lounge offers comfortable seating for four, a smart TV, and a wood-burning fireplace, perfect for cosy winter evenings. Relax and unwind with your favourite book or movie, enveloped in warmth and comfort.

Outside Space: From the kitchen, step out into a delightful seating area where you can enjoy your morning coffee in the sunshine. To the other side of the kitchen, access the beautiful enclosed cottage garden, complete with a coal BBQ. This is the perfect spot for a relaxing day in the sun and alfresco dinners.

Parking & EV Charging: Whitley Farm Cottage offers parking for two cars on the gravel next to the cottage. Additionally, an EV charger is available for an additional cost - please inform us prior to your stay if this is required.
