Whitewebbs is situated adjacent to ''The Byes'', a scenic
National Trust area of parkland, it is a Victorian terraced house
which has been lovingly restored as a delightful holiday home. An
easy, level walk beside the River Sid takes you to the superb range
of shops, restaurants, pubs, and beach that Sidmouth has to offer,
along with its theatre and cinema. With decor inspired by the
natural surroundings the spacious accommodation has been
thoughtfully furnished and decorated to a high standard while
retaining much charm and character throughout. The house is
ideal for couples and families.
Approach via 4 steps to the entrance with stairs to first and
second floor. Beautifully furnished, comfortable and cosy sitting
room with feature electric fire and bay window overlooking The
Byes. Dining area with large dining table. Small, but very
well equipped kitchen. Rear lobby with access to paved garden, not
directly attached to the property but only a few paces away!
On the first floor are two bedrooms, The Woodland Wing with king
size bed and lovely outlook over The Byes and The Captain's Cabin
which is a good size single bedroom. Newly installed family
bathroom with bath and shower over, hand basin and WC.
On the second floor there is the Sunset Suite, a lovely room
with a double bed unless requested. En-suite shower room with walk
in shower, hand basin and WC.
On request: The double room on the second floor has zip &
link beds and can be requested to be made up as a twin.
Parking: There is unrestricted parking along the lane in front
of the cottage. Guests can also purchase permits to use in East
Devon District Council car parks, there is a short stay car park on
Temple Street, under a 5 minute walk from Whitewebbs. The long stay
car park is on Manor Road.
