Assessors Comment:

What lovely surroundings The Teddy House is situated within. Guests are welcome to walk around the farm and meet the various animals including ducks, goats and chickens. It was lovely to meet Kathryn and Ian and learn the fascinating history and the restoration details of all the properties. It was obviously a project of passion. A welcome “Tea Tray” is provided for arriving guests. There is a guest outdoor grassed area to enjoy some privacy to the rear of the property with a brook running by.

Teddy House was everything we had anticipated, and more. Excellent living spaces downstairs, there were 6 adults staying and we had more join us for Christmas Dinner. The best equipped kitchen - we had brought spare pans and utensils and did not need any. Plenty of cups, mugs and crockery. Lovely and warm - and beautifully clean. Good sized bedrooms with the benefit of two full bathrooms plus a downstairs cloakroom. Great location - we enjoyed visiting the goats, chickens and cattle as well as a walk in the fields. The house had been decorated for Christmas with crackers, table cloth and serviettes left for us. Our hosts were welcoming but discreet - we had an excellent stay in their lovely property.
