The Masters House is perfectly located just meters away from Sidmouth's vibrant heart. Guests can enjoy leisurely strolls to the shops, beach, gardens, theatre, and array of restaurants that define this delightful Regency town. The Grade II property is suitably named, having once been the headmasters residence of what used to be a school behind circa 1810.
On entering the property into the front hall, to the left is a well equipped kitchen and dining area for 3 guests.
To the right, is a spacious lounge with comfortable seating and a TV and DVD player.
Past the lounge is a downstairs single bedroom with a pull out bed that can be made on request for an additional fee. There is a downstairs WC & sink off this bedroom.
From the hallway stairs lead to the first floor to the master bedroom with a double bed and plenty of storage.
The family bathroom is on the first floor and has a shower over the bath.
Parking: Guests can pull up to unload. There are roads nearby with unrestricted roadside parking. Manor Road's long stay car park is a 15 minute walk away, Tickets are £25 per week and cover all East Devon car parks, there are EDDC short stay car parks within meters of the property with no restrictions for overnight parking.
Guests can explore the Jurassic Coast whilst enjoying stunning walks in Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and The South West Coast Path. The Donkey Sanctuary, Crealy and Pecorama are all nearby for fun filled days with the kids. There are a wide range of activities nearby, from Paddleboarding and water skiing to Golf at Sidmouth Golf Club. Sidmouth and the nearby local towns have a wealth of independent boutique shops, cafes and restaurants, including Otterton Mill and Lympstone Manor.
By car: From the A3052 Exeter to Lyme Regis road at the Bowd Inn take the B3175 turning towards Sidmouth.
By bus: From Exeter bus station take number 9 bus to Sidmouth Triangle. Approximately 50 minutes.
By train: The closest train station is Honiton. Approximately 15 minutes away.
By plane: The closest airport is Exeter International. Approximately 30 minutes
