Seagull at Leigh Cottages is a beautiful
bungalow situated in established, well maintained grounds shared
with other similar holiday properties of just 8 in total. Located
in the charming hamlet of Weston, near Sidmouth. Walk through the
National Trust wooded combe, just minutes from the cottage. The
higher path leads to the cliff top and joins the South West Coast
Path, which has spectacular views over Lyme Bay. The steeper, lower
path leads to the tranquil, secluded Weston Mouth beach that is
only accessible by foot or boat. The Donkey Sanctuary is on
the doorstep and Sidmouth is just 3 miles away.
There is level access from the gravel parking
space, through to the bungalow.
Kitchen/Diner/Lounge: Open plan living area
with comfortable seating and a well-equipped kitchen with a
breakfast bar. The flooring has recently been updated with 'floors
for paws' as it's dog friendly and non-slip.
Bedroom 1: Double bedroom with a double bed,
wardrobe and chest of drawers. Venetian blinds as well as curtains
provide excellent light control.
Bedroom 2: A single bedroom with single bed,
armchair, wardrobe and chest of drawers. Venetian blinds as well as
curtains provide excellent light control.
Bathroom: Tiled shower room with hand basin,
WC, heated towel rail, fan heater and underfloor heating.
Outside space: Seagull has a patio area with
table, chairs, parasol and storage bench, perfect for al fresco
dining! It faces onto a large garden shared with the 3 adjacent
bungalows. Also adjoining is a field for use by the 8
properties.
There is a small communal area with the use of
a larger freezer. A washing machine and tumble dryer are also
available at a small charge via an honesty box.
Pets: Dogs go free at this property! Up to two
dogs welcome.
Parking: Signed space for 1 car approx. 10
meters from the property, plus further visitor parking on site.
