Mermaid Cottage

Mermaid Cottage is situated in the heart of Sidmouth bordering the River Sid and within 200 yards of the seafront, shops, restaurants. The coastal path along the Jurassic Coast is also within walking distance leading along the cliffs to Branscombe and Budleigh Salterton. The cottage retains many original features of the Victorian period.

An entrance hall leads to a small, but cosy sitting room. There is a living room with a wide-open plan arch to a spacious, bright and airy kitchen with dining area and patio doors to south facing sitting area. 

On the first floor there are two bedrooms, one large double and a spacious single with 4 ft bed. 

A white bathroom suite with a shower over the bath and WC.  Plus a separate WC. 

On the second floor there is a spacious twin bedroom with a Velux "balcony" style window.

PARKING: This property has a permit for one space in the Mill Street car park just meters from the cottage.

If your party has further cars, the long stay car park is located on Manor Road near Jacobs Ladder approximately 10-15 min walk. 3-7 day digital permits can be purchased online through the EDDC website or the RingGo parking app. These tickets are valid in all East Devon District car parks (note maximum stay).

Guests can explore the   Jurassic Coast whilst enjoying stunning walks in   Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and  The South West Coast Path.  The Donkey Sanctuary,  Crealy and  Pecorama are all nearby for fun filled days with the kids. There are a wide range of activities nearby, from Paddleboarding and water skiing to Golf at   Sidmouth Golf Club. Sidmouth and the nearby local towns have a wealth of independent boutique shops, cafes and restaurants, including  Otterton Mill and  Lympstone Manor.
