Jubilee Cottage

Jubilee Cottage is a superb thatched character cottage in the centre of Sidbury a very pretty Devon village, overlooking open countryside at the rear and just a short walk to the village stores and pubs. The spacious accommodation has tasteful furnishings throughout. Sidbury is a thriving Devon village with a green and pond, cricket club, local inn and shop. It is an easy 10-minute drive to the beach and many shops in Sidmouth, whilst the market town of Honiton is 10 minutes inland. There are lovely walks from the cottage, one popular walk being the East Devon Way and the "Sweetcombe Walk".   

An entrance door leads into a sitting area and a separate 'snug'. The snug is the perfect hideaway for some reading or work space, there is a sofa bed available on request.

Lounge: The sitting area has a gas wood burner and a large flat screen TV, great for a family film night.

Secondary lounge/diner: There is a second living room with comfortable seating and a dining area with seating for eight guests.

Kitchen:  A  galley style kitchen has integrated appliances including a fridge/ freezer, gas hob and electric oven.

Ground floor Bathroom:  large fully tiled downstairs bathroom with a spacious walk in shower, sink and WC.

French doors lead to a large enclosed garden with outside seating and wonderful views.

From the sitting area a door leads to the first floor where there are four bedrooms, all with hypo allergenic bedding and hangng & storage space.

1st Floor Bathroom: Furnished with a bath, sink and WC, there is a separate shower room with a small walk-in shower. 

Sofa bed: There is a sofa bed available in the snug room to sleep 9 or 10 guests. please note this room does not have a private door. This is available on request, charged at £50 extra.

Parking: Although Jubilee Cottage doesn't have dedicated space, there is unrestricted roadside parking infront of the cottage and more for extra cars nearby. 

Guests can explore the  Jurassic Coast whilst enjoying stunning walks in  Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and The South West Coast Path. The Donkey Sanctuary, Crealy and Pecorama are all nearby for fun filled days with the kids. There are a wide range of activities nearby, from Paddleboarding and water skiing to Golf at  Sidmouth Golf Club. Sidmouth and the nearby local towns have a wealth of independent boutique shops, cafes and restaurants, including Otterton Mill and Lympstone Manor.
