Higher Thorn Cottages

Higher Thorn Cottages are composed of two properties, accomodating up to 5 guests plus pets. They are beautiful, newly refurbished, bungalow style barn conversions on the outskirts of Salcombe Regis, near Sidmouth. They occupy a truly enviable semi-rural location adjacent to open fields where donkeys quietly graze, and just a few minutes' walk from the  South West Coast Path on the  Jurassic Coast. The  Donkey Sanctuary is a 15-minute walk and Sidmouth is approximately an hour's walk along the coastal path, with breath-taking, cliff-top views of Lyme Bay. The accommodation, which has been tastefully refurbished for the 2022 season, is beautifully furnished with many homely touches and is lovingly cared for by the owners who live in the nearby thatched cottage.

Cosy sitting room with wood burner style electric fire. Very well-equipped modern kitchen. Separate dining room. There is one double bedroom and one single bedroom. Shower room with electric shower, hand basin and WC. Water softener. Outside there is a lovely enclosed patio garden with BBQ and uninterrupted views across the fields towards the coastal path. Private parking space adjacent with stepped access to the property, there is level access via the owners' garden available by prior arrangement.

Higher Thorn Stable- sleeping 2 in a studio style bungalow.

Open plan accommodation comprising spacious living area with range of kitchen units and dining table. High quality oak furnishings and oak flooring. Wood burner style electric fire. A King size bed with quality bedding and linen. Shower room with large shower cubicle, hand basin and WC, water softener.  Outside there is a lovely enclosed patio garden with uninterrupted views across the fields towards the coastal path. Enclosed patio area with a BBQ. Private parking adjacent with level gravel access.

Higher Thorn Barn and Higher Thorn Stable can be booked individually or together as 'Higher Thorn Cottages' to accommodate up to 5 people plus pets.
