Overview

Grannies is a charming, traditional cottage quietly situated adjacent to Sidmouth's delightful "Byes" National Trust parkland, riverside walk and just an easy five-minute level stroll to the town centre and beach. The cottage offers cosy & comfortable accommodation. 

A few steps lead up into the cottage. A fitted kitchen on the right-hand side with appliances. A cosy sitting room with an Inglenook style fireplace with electric wood burner effect stove. Comfortable sofas for four guests. A conservatory style room at the back of the property leads out into the pretty, lawned south facing garden with garden furniture.  A dining area with seating for up to six guests. A flight of stairs (slightly steep) leads from the dining area upstairs to the first floor. On the first floor there is the master bedroom with a king-size bed, pleasant outlook over the garden and the Byes National Trust parkland and the River Sid. There is a traditional bathroom with shower over the bath, sink and WC. A separate room with a washing machine, W.C, sink and boiler storage. Stairs to the second pretty bedroom with twin beds, sloping eaves and a dormer window overlooking "Byes".
