Delderfield

Our Delderfield Suite (which takes its name from R.F.DELDERFIELD the famous Author who lived in Sidmouth) is based on the site of a former cider press with some truly charming cob features still visible to the interior walls, this together with the vaulted ceilings in the living areas form characterful self-catering suite.

The Delderfield Suite is ideally suited to accommodate either a couple or a single person, Our accommodation is strictly Non-Smoking, we are unable to accept Pets. We ask that due to the nature of the 'Amtico' flooring we ask all our guests to bring a pair of soft indoor shoes (or slippers) for use while at the accommodation.

Specification:

The Building Performance - Worcester-Bosch 'A' rated gas fired central heating and hot-water boiler go together with latest specification double glazed timber windows & insulation levels well in excess of normal building requirements to provide an environment that won't let you down on the coldest of days (or nights).  All our self-catering Suites are fitted with the latest Heat / Smoke / Carbon-Monoxide Detectors - While door locks, signage & procedures are fire-regulation compliant.

Living - Open plan living area with vaulted ceilings and 'Amtico' flooring,  Large leather corner sofa, Oak dining table & chairs, 'Smeg GasFlame Fire' (100% efficient)  , Fast Wifi Internet access point & a Sony Bravia 32" TV with an internet connected Blueray DVD player.

Cooking - Our Kitchen includes, Dishwasher / Washing Machine-Tumble Dryer / Gas Hob & Oven / High Performance 'Bosch' extractor / Full size fridge-freezer / Micro-Wave / in a fully fitted range of quality units under 'Artis Fireglaze' worktops.

Sleeping -  Within the bedroom is the King Size steel framed bed with a 'Silent Night' pocket sprung 1000 spring memory foam layered mattress, Fogarty quilt & Dreamloft pillows, Oak Bedside Cabinets and tasteful lighting offer a great sleeping experience.  Next to the sleeping area is an Oak Wardrobe, Chest of Draws & Dressing Table.   

Bathroom -  A 'Jasper Morrison' designed suite, includes a steel bath and ceiling mounted shower over / Amtico flooring & a ceiling integrated DAB sound system  ensure the bathroom is a high class and functional space.

Light & Space - Both the Bedroom & Bathroom have' Velux Integra' remote control roof windows with integrated blackout blinds (& rain sensors) to add an addition dimension to the rooms.

Outside -  French doors open out onto The Delderfield Suite's own private garden area with table & cushioned chairs under a parasol, a cosy Arbour with exterior lighting making this space a beautiful addition to the accommodation.
