Cheddar Cottage forms part of a pretty terrace of cottages in a quiet residential area of Sidmouth just a five-minute walk to the seafront and shops. 

The entrance hall leads to

A beautifully furnished spacious open plan sitting room/dining room with a Victorian style fireplace with gas living flame fire. French doors lead to a sunny enclosed courtyard with patio table and chairs, and rear access for bike storage.

Bright fully fitted kitchen with fridge, freezer and dishwasher.

Bedroom 1: a good size bedroom with a double bed and fitted bedroom furniture

Bedroom 2: a pretty twin bedroom.

Bathroom with shower over bath and W.C.

Unrestricted roadside parking along the lane in front of the cottage. Alternatively, Manor Road long stay car park is a 5-minute walk away. Tickets are £25 per week and cover all East Devon council car parks.

Sidmouth is a beautiful Edwardian seaside town with various individual shops and places to eat and drink close by. The surrounding Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty has numerous walks and a variety of activites for all ages and abilities.

The cottage was clean and well equipped and an easy walk to the beach and town. However there was no phone signal in the house, which was an issue for me.
