Bridge Cottage is a beautiful thatched 16th Century cottage situated 15 minutes' walk from the unspoilt beach at Budleigh Salterton. This traditional thatched cottage combines old world charm with modern comforts and a bright and airy feel. It is situated on a country lane around the corner from the village pub in Knowle, which connects to the northern edge of Budleigh Salterton. Bridge Cottage is easily accessible to Budleigh Salterton which has a traditional high street and sea front, and it also benefits from close proximity to the Otter Valley, Woodbury Common, and the Exmouth railway/bike trail. The local area has a selection of beaches, pubs, restaurants, tea rooms and shops, all within reach by car or foot. This delightful cottage is perfect for families with dogs with walks to Woodbury Common and along the river on the doorstep.Well behaved dogs are welcome at this property and will love all the walks available, the secure courtyard garden is great for drying off wet dogs.

Walk through the entrance hall to the open plan sitting room with a pair of comfy sofas equipped with an electric log fire for cosy evenings. There is a dining area with bookshelves. A fully equipped kitchen and a downstairs cloakroom. The private rear garden is decorated with flowering plants and shrubs. This secluded courtyard is ideal for enjoying some peace and quiet and has an outdoor table and chairs so you can enjoy a morning coffee or evening glass of wine. Access to the upstairs of the property is via a lovely spiral staircase (please be aware of this if you have limited mobility). Bridge cottage has two upstairs bedrooms and a family bathroom. Bedroom one has a double bed and bedroom two has twin beds. The bathroom has a corner bath with shower & WC.

Short Breaks are available from the end of October half term to the start of the Easter school holidays, or at the owners' discretion for a last minute booking at other times of the year. Unfortunately it would be most unusual for us to be in a position to consider a short break at peak holiday times, such as the October and February half terms or over the Christmas, New Year and Easter breaks.
