2 Beach House is a luxurious first floor apartment situated on Sidmouth esplanade with direct sea views over the beach and Lyme Bay.The accommodation is extremely spacious for 4 guests and newly refurbished to the highest standard.Beach House is the oldest building on Sidmouth seafront, dating back to 1790 and used as the meeting place for the gentry of the time. It has been awarded "The Blue Plaque" for historic interest. The present owner has skilfully renovated the property retaining much of its charm and character, particularly worth mentioning are the Gothic style stained glass original windows and the ornate balcony. The many quality individual shops, restaurants, tea rooms and public gardens are all within a few minutes level walk.The coastal path is accessed at either end of the seafront. This property can be booked with Ref 039 Beach House which is the apartment above.


Accessed from the esplanade. There is an entrance hall with stairs to first floor.An elegant spacious landing with all rooms leading off.  A sitting room with original marble fireplace. A Large stained glass window with French doors opening onto a small balcony directly overlooking the esplanade.Ample comfortable sofas for relaxing and people watching. A kitchen/dining room with integrated appliances and dining area. A cloakroom with WC and hand basin.  A double bedroom with a king size bed,  quality bedroom furniture and sea views. A luxury en-suite with large shower cubicle, WC and vanity unit with hand basin.  A further twin bedroom with an en-suite luxury bathroom with a shower over the bath, hand basin and WC.

Parking: Jacob;s Ladder long stay car park is a 10 minute walk from the apartment. Tickets are £25.00 per week and  cover all East Devon council car parks.

Towels: Available to hire at £8 per set

Appliances: 54" flat screen TV, DVD and hair dryer 

Kitchen utilities: Electric oven, Hob, Microwave, Washer, Dryer, Fridge, Freezer and  Dishwasher

Child amenities: Cot, high chair and star gate available on request at £10 per item

Unfortunately it would be most unusual for us to be in a position to consider a short break at peak holiday times, such as the October and February half terms or over the Christmas, New Year and Easter breaks.
