14th September 2019 - 'Another return visit- we must really love it here. This time walked to Lyme Regis via the under-cliff, sensational landscape, hard work but thoroughly worth it. More lovely walks to Branscombe and weather even good enough to swim. Medevial Colyton is beautiful, visit the Merchants Tea Rooms for excellent 'home' cooking. Many thanks for your hospitality and local information.'
7th September 2019 - 'It was lovely to be greeted so warmly after a long journey and the welcome pack most appreciative. We have been so lucky to have experienced such good weather to enable us to do some beautiful walks along the coast and inland. Toby (our dog) loved drinking from the cold running streams but is not impressed by the sea as he doesn't like getting wet or the noise of the crashing waves. The Donkey Sanctuary welcomes dogs and we were impressed at the improvement made since our last visit. Have walked from Beer to Branscombe where we viewed an old forge and a National Trust Bakery for delicious eats and fresh apple juice from local resources. The accommodation is very attractive and spotless with fantastic views. A big thank you for all the useful information provided. A delightful stay.'
