About this property

As the name suggests, "The Crows Nest" has spectacular views of Sidmouth. Lyme Bay, the Sid Valley and the distant red cliffs to the west can all be enjoyed from this vantage point. This spacious house is located in one of the most prestigious residential areas of Sidmouth, yet only a short downhill walk to the sea front and town centre. The secluded, south-facing, decked garden is a real delight with ornamental planting and teak garden furniture. All the windows are double glazed with "New England" style internal shutters to the main rooms. The Crows Nest is ideally located to explore Sidmouth and the world renowned Jurassic coastline and other Devon attractions. 

ACCOMMODATION: Large entrance porch and hall. Contemporary kitchen with integrated appliances and family breakfast table. Access to the enclosed rear garden. Two steps down to the superb living room enjoying an abundance of natural light with panoramic views over Sidmouth and Lyme Bay. Oak dining suite and leather sofas, soft lighting and neutral colour schemes with oak laminate flooring. Polished iron mantelpiece with a working gas fire. French doors and steps leading to the south-west facing garden. Off the inner hall there is a single bedroom with a luxury shower room and WC adjacent. Easy rising stairs to the first floor. The master bedroom is absolutely stunning with a Juliette Balcony and French doors, large picture windows overlooking the Seafront and Bay. King size bed, TV and fitted wardrobes. Single bedroom and a further double bedroom. All the bedrooms have oak furniture and "memory foam" mattresses on the beds and made up with quality bed linen and towels. Bathroom with shower over bath and WC.

23rd September 2017: A lovely week in Sidmouth, we are much fitter now having walked up and down Hillside Road a few times! The house is comfortable and with lovely views.

26th August 2017 - ' A wonderful location, fantastic sea views and were able to enjoy sitting outside for an evening BBQ. Great to be able to walk into Sidmouth, particularly for the spectacular Red Arrows display. Would recommend Silver King Chinese for a take away and Sidmouth Tandori for a sit in meal in a relaxed, friendly environment with terrific food - don't be fooled by the outside - well worth a visit.'
