About this property

Sailing Home is a spacious bright, airy modernised Victorian house,located in the heart of Sidmouth within 200 yards of the beach, shops, indoor swimming pool, cinema and theatre. The accommodation is very well furnished in a modern style with pale colour schemes throughout. All the rooms have an unusual shape as the house forms a curve in the terrace that adds to the character of the property. 


An open plan entrance with stairs to first floor. Large living area with bay window, wood effect laminate flooring, modern feature gas fire. Dining area leading to fitted kitchen. Utility room with door to rear enclosed patio style garden.On the first floor there are two spacious twin bedrooms. Large family bathroom with shower over bath and W.C.On the second floor there is a lovely double room with velux windows in the sloping ceiling. En-suite shower room and W.C.


Changeover day: Friday

Wifi: Yes

Pets: Sorry not accepted

Parking: Unrestricted roadside parking within a few minutes walk of the cottage. Alternatively the Jacobs Ladder long stay car park is about a 10 minute walk away. Tickets are £25 per week and cover all East Devon council car parks

Towels: Available to hire at £8 per set

Appliances: TV.DVD. Hi Fi/radio.

Kitchen utilities: Electric oven and hob. Washing machine.Fridge and Freezer. Dishwasher. Microwave.

Child amenities: Cot, stair gate & high chair available on request for £10 per item.  

£100 supplement for Folk Week ( 1st week in August )


2nd December 2018- ' Thanks as always for a chance to have a pre Christmas break. Weather was a bit damp but mild. Lots of Christmas shopping done. Cinema, roast dinners, cream teas and beach walks.'

Short Breaks are available from the end of October half term to the start of the Easter school holidays, or at the owners' discretion for a last minute booking at other times of the year. Unfortunately it would be most unusual for us to be in a position to consider a short break at peak holiday times, such as the October and February half terms or over the Christmas, New Year and Easter breaks.
