Beach House is the oldest building on Sidmouth seafront, dating back to 1790 and used as the meeting place for the gentry of the time. It has been awarded "The Blue Plaque" for historic interest. The present owner has skilfully renovated the property retaining much of its charm and character, particularly worth mentioning are the Gothic style stained glass original windows and the ornate balcony. The many quality individual shops, restaurants, tea rooms and public gardens are all within a few minutes level walk.  The coastal path is accessed at either end of the seafront. This property can be booked with Ref 39 Beach House which is the apartment above.

A Large stained-glass window with French doors opening onto a small balcony directly overlooking the esplanade.  Ample new for 2020 comfortable sofas for relaxing and people watching. A kitchen/dining room with integrated appliances and dining area. A cloakroom with WC and hand basin.  A double bedroom with a king size bed, quality bedroom furniture and sea views. A luxury en-suite with large shower cubicle, WC and vanity unit with hand basin.  A further twin bedroom with an en-suite luxury bathroom with a shower over the bath, hand basin and WC. Jacob's Ladder long stay car park is a 10-minute walk from the apartment. Tickets are £25.00 per week and cover all East Devon council car parks.
