Pebblestone Cottage

About this property

Pebblestone Cottage is a delightful curiosity. Originally two cottages, built in about 1820, it is almost circular, covered with beach pebbles and is one of the sights of this charming unspoilt Regency seaside resort. It has appeared in several prints and postcards and is featured in 'A Vision of Britain' by HRH The Prince of Wales, as an example of how buildings are best when built with local materials. The cottage is only 300 yards from the seafront and there are excellent shops, restaurants and gardens close by. This is an eccentric quaint cottage with everything you need for a lovely seaside holiday.

Two steps down to the sitting room. Dining room with oval dining table. Small but well equipped kitchen. Stairs to first floor. Two charming bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with twin beds and a view towards the esplanade and sea. Lovely Victorian style bathroom with shower over bath and WC. The ground floor has terracotta tiles and scattered rugs. Upstairs is carpeted. Gas central heating.

*Short Break prices shown are for 3 nights only, please call for 4 or 5 night prices if required. Short Breaks are available from the end of October half term to the start of the Easter school holidays, or at the owners' discretion for a last minute booking at other times of the year. Unfortunately it would be most unusual for us to be in a position to consider a short break at peak holiday times, such as the October and February half terms or over the Christmas, New Year and Easter breaks.
