It is comfortably furnished with charm and character. The spacious cosy rooms face south and overlook the secluded garden.
An entrance door leads to a spacious living room with feature brick fireplace (not for use) and exposed beams. Lovely dining room. Large farmhouse-style kitchen/breakfast room with dresser. Shower room with WC. Utility room ("the Green Room") with WC. Easy stairs to three good-sized bedrooms, one double and two twin. A modern Victorian-style bathroom with hand-held shower and WC. A mature half-acre garden with furniture. The fully enclosed garden is a delight: watch the birds, have an al fresco breakfast on the lawn, explore the wooded area. Visiting badgers drink at the pond (safety fenced), and nest boxes encourage tawny owl, dormouse and hedgehogs.

3rd November 2018- 'Our first time to Devon and Podbury's Cottage and we have had a fantastic time and visited some lovely places. Podbury's Cottage is wonderful, such a charming, interesting place with lots of history. We loved exploring the area and would recommend it to anyone.'

5th October 2018- 'The first Saturday here it poured down but cleared up just before the carnival! Such wonderful floats and lively music. The World of Country Life is wonderful and you can feed the deer and the lambs. I took the bus to Torquay and Brixham and had a lovely day out.'
