About this property

A delightful, spacious former fisherman's cottage situated just a stones throw from the town centre, beach and delightful gardens. The cottage has a recently fitted bathroom and kitchen with comfortable furnishings throughout. The decor is imaginatively designed along a seaside theme. There is an enclosed courtyard to the rear with patio furniture.     


Entrance hall . Spacious, bright and airy living room comfortably furnished with tasteful colour schemes. French doors opening into utility room with door to rear courtyard with garden furniture. Outside WC. Quality light oak style kitchen with granite worktops. On the first floor there are two spacious bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with three single beds, both with pine furnishings and tasteful decor.Modern bathroom with shower over the bath and W.C. Electric night storage heating throughout.

Saturday changeover day.

Parking: There are is a long stay public car park a 10 minute walk from the cottage. Weekly permits can be purchased for £25 per week covering all East Devon car parks.

Dogs accepted at £25 per week (security deposit of £150.00 required)

Electric ceramic hob and oven. Microwave. Fridge. Freezer. Dishwasher. Washing machine.Tumble Dryer.

Bed linen included. Towels available at £8.00 per set

£100 supplement for Folk Week (1st week in August).

26th August 2017 - ' We've had a wonderful week at Killick Cottage. Its so comfortable, homely and has plenty of room for the five of us. The beds are comfortable. It's a great location for the town and beach. Sidmouth is lovely, Haymans is a great butchers and the best fudge ever at Roly's fudge shop. The Anchor is a friendly pub. Thank you for the welcome tray. We hope to be back sometime. It's sad to leave.'

1st July 2017 - ' Lovely cosy cottage, great location. Bedding lovely and fresh. Plenty of room. Kitchen well equipped. Ate at The Swan most nights, food great and very welcoming. Really made a fuss of Pippa our dog, need to book. Also do take away fish and chips.'

3rd June 2017 - ' A fabulous stay. Thank you Killick for being a lovely home from home. Clean cottage. We are sad to leave after are happy stay. See you at Halloween.'

18th March 2017 - ' Another lovely holiday at Killick. What a wonderful little cottage. Central to all. A trip to The Donkey Sanctuary is a must. Visit Dukes for food and an amazing little find was Otterton Mill. Thanks for a great time - see you in May.'

18th February 2017 - ' Another fab February half term week at Killick. We have lost count of the number of times we have holidayed in Sidmouth but the whole family still love it abd Killick is our favourite cottage. As usual it is very sad to leave.'

5th February 2017 - ' Enjoyeda long weekend here despite the rain. Comfortable, cosy and espaecially warm - we needed it! Great location and our dog had a great holiday with us. Perfect.'

Lovely visits to The Donkey Sanctuary, Beer & Lyme Regis. We recommend Dukes for great atmosphere & wonderful food. Booking was very easy & the communication with Sweetcombe was excellent.'

30th July 2016 - ' We have enjoyed the great location. Great walks, swimming, paddle boarding & nice tours in the surroundings. Everything good with the house. With staying two weeks the use of a washing machine and to cook in the nice kitchen is appreciated. We look forward to more visits here.'

4th June 2016 - 'Great location, fabulous for days out. Can recommend The Donkey Sanctuary and the coastal walk behind it. Exmouth is great if you want a sandy beach and Topsham is a nice village day out.'

Short Breaks are available from the end of October half term to the start of the Easter school holidays, or at the owners' discretion for a last minute booking at other times of the year. Unfortunately it would be most unusual for us to be in a position to consider a short break at peak holiday times, such as the October and February half terms or over the Christmas, New Year and Easter breaks.
