The cottage is clean, spacious, with many mod-cons. Enjoyed the food and atmosphere of the Kings Arms and the friendliness of the staff. Would also recommend 'The Tittle Tattle tea shop' in Budleigh Salterton for afternoon tea and 'The Mill at Otterton'. Amazed at how fast the '2 piggies' could eat and always wanted more! Many thanks for milk, biscuits & flowers!' Sylvia & Pete, Warrington, Cheshire

Sept-Oct 2015 - 'De 2de keer in Barnhuis.
Volgend jaar zien we elkaar hopend in goede gezondheid weer terug.' Wim en Rinske, Katwijk, Nederland.

18th September 2016 - 'We have just had a very relaxing restful and stress free week in one of the best self catering bungalows in the country, in one of the best places in the country. The weather has been unsettled but has not prevented us from doing anything, we managed to do everything we had planned. The village has everything you could want, a small shop manned by volunteers which sells all the essentials plus a lot more. 'The Kings Arms' public house which serves delicious meals, as has been said by previous visitors. Well it is almost time for us to depart now but we are looking forward to returning next year should the opportunity arise. Before we go, we would just like to say thank you David & Marianne for allowing us to stay in your lovely bungalow and thank you for the milk, biscuits & flowers.' Angela & Gerry, Kent
