Within 1 mile of Sidmouth, these three characterful cottages have been carefully converted from a range of barns to provide high quality holiday accommodation. Bulverton was originally part of the Manor of Sidmouth, once owned by the Monks of St Michael. Sheldrake cottage was originally an 18th century corn mill, while Pintail and Grebe cottages formed part of the early Victorian farm buildings.

Adjacent to the owner's delightful home, the cottages enjoy a south facing aspect, each one having a private patio with garden furniture overlooking the large shared garden and surrounding countryside, an ideal place for relaxing on warm summer evenings. The cottages are tastefully furnished to a high standard with pleasing colour schemes throughout and have a wealth of exposed beams and trusses.


Pintail is a lovely retreat for a couple. Level entrance to open plan living/dining room with modern oak fitted kitchen area. Stairs to first floor. Charming double bedroom with a zip and link bed The bed will be made up as a super king unless you request for two single beds prior to arrival. with exposed beams and outlook over garden. Bathroom with shower over bath and W.C. Private patio with garden furniture and BBQ. Use of delightful mature grounds. There is a one acre enclosed lawn area for dog exercising.The owner does request that dogs are kept on a lead when in any other areas of the grounds, such as car park, communal gardens and patio area.

Parking: Ample private parking adjacent to the property

One small dog accepted at £25 per week.

T.V., DVD, CD/Radio and Wi Fi internet connection.

Microwave, fridge, electric cooker. Shared utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.

Night storage heating throughout. Electricity included from 2nd May until 26th September thereafter charged as used by meter reading.The cottage has double glazing.

Bed linen is included, duvets onbeds. Towels available to hire at £8 per set. 

£50 supplement for Folk Week (1st week in August)

Unfortunately it would be most unusual for us to be in a position to consider a short break at peak holiday times, such as the October and February half terms or over the Christmas, New Year and Easter breaks.
