Westmead is a recently constructed detached "Arts and Crafts style" chalet bungalow with lovely countryside views, situated in a quiet country lane in the village of Sidbury just a short walk away from the village pub, shop and bus stop with excellent services to Sidmouth and Honiton. The bright and airy accommodation, suitable for the less able,  is beautifully furnished, using the latest technology for lighting and heating The busy market town of Honiton is 10 minutes drive, the coastal resort of Sidmouth is just 3 miles away. Sidbury is a lovely village with green and pond, cricket club and pub, the perfect Devon village, with rows of thatched cottages and rolling countryside.

Accommodation


Easy, level acess to the property through pretty garden and logia. Spacious living room with high vaulted ceiling with exposed beams and minstrels gallery. French doors opening onto covered loggia with terrace and garden. Open plan kitchen with integrated appliances. Two ground floor bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with twin beds, both with delightful views. Ground floor shower room with hand basin, large walk in shower and WC. Stairs to open plan galleried landing. Further double bedroom with king size bed, (please note this room has sloping ceilings) and superb views over the surrounding countryside. En-suite bathroom with shower over bath and W.C.The property is set in the grounds of the Old Vicarage with shared driveway access and has its own private front garden with lawn area, patio and garden furniture. Private parking for one car adjacent to the property with level access. There are also steps at the bottom of the front garden that lead down to additional parking on the road.

Gas central heating with under floor heating in the living area and downstairs shower room.

23rd April 2016 - 'Lovely cottage and very well equipped. Cosy and comfortable, very good showers. So peaceful and lots of birds and rabbits in the garden.
